Meet the Interim Directors
Linda Edwards was a member of Don Thompson's FJC Chorale, and now serves as President of the DTC. She pursued a Vocal Performance major, studied choral conducting, and has taught voice. She has served as interim music director in several churches, as well as in the Don Thompson Chorale. In the meantime, she earned her Masters in Healthcare Administration for her "day job".

Belinda Hulett graduated form Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, and earned her BA from Jacksonville University. Over the last 3 years, she has taught band and chorus in various schools, as well as private piano and voice lessons. She joined DTC in 2018 and is currently the Soprano Section Leader.
Miranda Lippus graduated with a BME from the University of North Florida. She is currently teaching music at a K-8 school, where she also has begun building an extracurricular choir program. She has enjoyed recent leadership opportunities within the Jacksonville fine arts community and within the realm of Waldorf Education. She joined the DTC in 2023.
Phil Mattox has been directing church choirs and community choruses for 25 years. He is currently Director of Music for Traditional Worship at Southside Methodist Church and serves alongside Bette, his wife, who is the organist there. He joined the DTC in 2018 and is currently the Bass section Leader.

Sarah Shoremount graduated with a BM in Music Education and a MM in Oboe Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory. She curently works as a K-8 music teacher at Holy Family Catholic and as Music Director at Ashbury United Methodist Church. She joined the DTC in 2024.
